Weber wOil Water Mixable Artist Oil Colors have a very smooth, buttery consistency with a medium-body to heavy-body viscosity that can be used directly from the tube, thinned with water, or blended with traditional oil colors, mediums, and acrylic-based colors.

Considered permanent for artists' use, all wOil colors have a lightfastness rating of I or II. When wOil colors are thinned with water, the water evaporates from the paint film fairly rapidly, leaving behind a traditional film of oil that dries by oxidation. The reflective quality of the wOil film and drying times vary from color to color.

Weber wOil colours generally dry within three to five days, which is slightly faster than traditional oil colours.
